This jewelry set is a classic example of vintage Chanel "Statement Gold" from the late 1980s to early 1990s, an era defined by bold, oversized accessories designed by Karl Lagerfeld. This 1994 archival "Logo Oval Toggle" sautoir features heavy, gold-plated chain links interspersed with large, smooth, oval-shaped "pill"or "bullets", charms. These charms are embossed with the "CHANEL" name and the "CC" logo. It is designed to be worn long (usually around 51 inches) or wrapped multiple times for a layered effect.
It is offered with a matching multi-strand chain bracelet featuring the same oval charms finished in a rich, "yellow-gold" plating characteristic of that era.
